Blogging has been practiced for a few decades as a platform for bloggers to enter serial publication of thoughts and comments on the Internet.

When I first look at the term blog then in the nineties, I was puzzled regarding why I did not come to know about it previously, having been immersed in the English literature for over four decades! Absolutely, I find out in my six copies of dictionaries in almirah to find explanation but I could not find one. The motive is simple...... the term "BLOG" simply didn't occur in my dictionaries including the Oxford Dictionary!

At last my search concluded at Oxford dictionary of Modern Slang. Dictionary reads "blog noun: The Web website consisting an eclectic & regularly edited variety of issues of concern to its author." Not contented with this half-informative and not clear meaning, I tried the Web to perform further "research".
